Sunny Blue Skies

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't been posting as frequently as I did towards the end of February and the beginning of March. I've had a lot of small problems that I have had to take care of in life.. (An accident, a Ticket + Getting sick etc etc) but these are little things that will not keep me down!

I will try to post more often!

E.L.F. Haul! 3-8-2011

So I got this big package in the mail today <3 This is a haul of makeup from E.L.F. Im soo happy! The shipping didn't take as long as last time so I am relieved. So lets start with

(Also, I tried on one of the lipsticks.. this one is "Voodoo". I love the rich bright red color. It's very sexy and confident.)


And I got this Medium sized organizer unit to put my makeup in. It was less than $10 from Target.It's very nice and a good size since I do not have too many makeup items.

first drawer I keep hairclips/hairbands and lipsticks
second drawer I keep eye makeup such as eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascara
third drawer I keep face makeups such as blush/bronzer, powder foundations, acne cream etc.

Little Package in the Mail

Hey guys so I wanted to upday today about the little package I got yesterday in the mail :]

So these are the E.L.F. products I bought online about 2 weeks ago. It kind of took a long time and I am kind of dissapointed about that but now that it has arrived I am very happy.

So the items I got were...

From left to right:

Mineral Infused Face Primer

Natural Eye Primer and Liner Sealer

Medium Eyebrow Kit

Matte Finisher Clear Nail Polish

Blushing, Bronzing, and Blending Brush

Total Face Brush

Foundation Brush

So far I've tried all of the brushes and the eyebrow kit. Sadly I was kind of rushed this morning so I couldnt try the face and eye primers.. But I will try them tomorrow :] I really like the feel of my makeup when I use a brush. I used to use sponges and it made my makeup feel so.. heavy that it kind of felt caked on and oily. When I use a brush my face feels much lighter. As for the eyebrow kit, It shapes my eyebrows to look darker and more filled. I feel like my face looks more confident!

For other news..

I had a great success in my art class (Drawing and Composition) we had to do a still like in Charcoals (Vine or Willow Charcoal to sketch out and Compressed Charcoal to shade) and I feel like it came out great! I'm really happy with the results.

Hey guys! Just updating with the outfit of the day!

Outfit of the day was put together keeping in mind work.. (I work as a host at a Japanese Restaurant :] There is a dress code.. but it isn't as restricting as some places ;D)
1. Beige open short sleeve cardigan

As for other news:
Today I went to the local CVS store :] Today I decided to pick up this interesting top coat. I love to paint my nails but I usually don't care about putting a top coat or not. I decided that I wanted to try an experiment and see if using a top coat makes a big difference from not using one.

This is what the back of the package says:

Hey everyone! Just wanted to post up today's outfit..





What makes up this outfit:
Blue Ruffle top from Love Culture

Life: Today I pretty much worked all day. When I came home on my break, I really had a big impulse to just organize everything in my room.. So I did! Haha :P I'm still not done. There is so much I want to do!

Update on Nail Polish color: This shade of pink is very vibrant and girly :] It is the brand "Nicole" & the color "Volunteer Cheer". I think I picked this color to cheer me up from the weather (It's been raining all day!)

As for a pic from my "Collections".. These are all of my shoes! I just have to say, I love to see all the cool stuff people have in their collections.. So I thought I would show you what I've been collecting for my fashion! (These are some of them... I have more not shown >.<)


My favorite pair is the brown boots in the top row (The one's that are fluffy on the top) I will write more about these later maybe in the next blog ;D

As for other news... In my english class, for homework, we had to study the children's story of Beauty and the Beast. It was a great read (Pretty different from the Disney spin off of the tale) When we showed up at the next class, the teacher showed us the trailer of a modern version of the story called "Beastly". I cant wait to see it! I'm excited for it to come out!!
(Although I do have to say... Im not too thrilled that Vanessa Hudgens is in the film...but it's so great that i'm willing to overlook that detail!)
